CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Gently wipe your gold-filled or sterling silver with a jewelry polishing cloth every now and then to promote shine.  Don't overdo it as excessive polishing can lead to discoloration.

Be mindful that lotions, perfume, and hairspray may tarnish or dull your jewelry due to the harsh chemicals they contain.

Avoid wearing gold-filled or sterling silver jewelry in the ocean or swimming pools, as the saltwater and chlorine can cause damage, especially hot tubs.  If you happen to forget, rinse your jewelry with soap and water as soon as possible.

Avoid wearing your gold-filled and sterling silver jewelry when cleaning, as exposure to heavy detergents and cleaning agents can be detrimental.

Be sure to keep your gold-filled and sterling silver jewelry as dry as possible.  Store it as far away from humidity, in a cotton bag or box to avoid rubbing other jewelry as this may cause it to loose its sheen.
